Terms of Use for Household Income Tracker
Effective date: August 16, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Household Income Tracker mobile application (“App”), provided by RDMJ Apps (“RDMJ Apps,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of the App
Household Income Tracker allows users to enter, organize, calculate, visualize, export, and share household income information.
The App is an organizational tool. It is not a bank, payroll provider, tax-preparation service, accounting service, investment adviser, credit counselor, or financial adviser.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms to create an account or use the App.
The App is not intended for children.
3. Accounts and Security
You may access the App through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
You agree to:
-
Provide accurate account information
-
Maintain control of your Apple or Google account
-
Protect your device and access credentials
-
Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
-
Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account, except where prohibited by law
Do not share passwords, authentication codes, or device passcodes.
4. Household Information
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of information you enter into the App.
Do not enter:
-
Social Security numbers
-
Driver’s-license or passport numbers
-
Bank-account or payment-card numbers
-
Passwords or authentication credentials
-
Complete home addresses
-
Medical or health records
-
Other information that could create an unreasonable risk of identity theft or harm
The App is intended to store income descriptions and amounts—not sensitive identity documents, credentials, or complete financial-account information.
5. Shared Households and Invitations
The App permits household owners to invite other users and assign access levels.
By creating or accepting a shared-household invitation, you understand that authorized members may be able to view, modify, export, or delete information according to their assigned role.
You agree that:
-
You will send invitations only to intended recipients.
-
You will verify the recipient before sharing a code or invitation.
-
You will select an appropriate permission level.
-
You are responsible for reviewing and managing household access.
-
A recipient may retain information they exported, copied, photographed, or otherwise saved before their access was revoked.
-
RDMJ Apps cannot retrieve information sent to an unintended recipient.
-
Actions taken by authorized editors or owners may affect all household members.
Household owners may remove members, change roles, revoke invitations, or transfer ownership. Ownership transfers and household deletion may be irreversible.
6. Income Calculations and Estimates
Calculations are based on information supplied by users and assumptions built into the App.
Hourly, monthly, annual, recurring, variable, gross, take-home, growth, percentage, and historical figures are estimates. They may not account for:
-
Taxes or withholding
-
Overtime
-
Unpaid time
-
Bonuses or commissions
-
Irregular schedules
-
Benefits or deductions
-
Exchange rates
-
Changes in employment
-
Accounting or tax rules
You are responsible for independently verifying all figures before making financial, employment, tax, borrowing, purchasing, or legal decisions.
7. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice
Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, employment, or legal advice.
App summaries, charts, explanations, and AI-assisted text are provided only for general informational and organizational purposes. Consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions based on financial information.
8. AI-Assisted Features
The App may offer help answering questions about App usage, preparing draft income entries, or explaining calculations produced by the App.
AI-assisted output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review and confirm any proposed entry before saving it. AI-assisted features are not authorized to make independent financial decisions or knowingly modify records without confirmation.
9. User Conduct
You may not:
-
Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes
-
Attempt to access another household without authorization
-
Share invitation codes publicly or deceptively
-
Circumvent authentication, permissions, security rules, or App Check
-
Probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the App or its services
-
Upload malicious code or interfere with another user’s access
-
Impersonate another person
-
Use the App to harass, monitor, exploit, or harm another person
-
Use automated methods to extract data without permission
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, services, or legal rights.
10. Exports and Third-Party Applications
You may export or share information through applications and services available on your device.
You are solely responsible for:
-
Selecting recipients
-
Reviewing exported content
-
Protecting exported files
-
Removing information that should not be shared
-
Understanding the privacy practices of the receiving service
Once information leaves the App, it may no longer be controlled or deleted by RDMJ Apps.
11. Account and Data Deletion
Available deletion choices may include leaving a household, deleting personal income information, deleting an account, or deleting an entire household.
Some deletion actions are permanent. The App may require reauthentication and multiple confirmations to reduce accidental deletion.
If an owner deletes only their own account or personal information without deleting the entire shared household, remaining authorized members may retain access to shared household information. Information already exported or copied by another user may also remain.
You are responsible for exporting any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
12. Third-Party Services
The App relies on services provided by Apple and Google, including authentication, cloud storage, device security, diagnostics, and App distribution.
Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages, account restrictions, service changes, or actions controlled by third-party providers.
13. Availability and Modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the App.
We do not guarantee that:
-
The App will always be available
-
Synchronization will be immediate or error-free
-
Data will never be lost
-
Every feature will work on every device or operating-system version
-
Third-party services will remain available
-
All calculations or AI-assisted explanations will be accurate
You should maintain independent copies of information that is important to you.
14. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, branding, text, icons, and original content, is owned by RDMJ Apps or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, and revocable right to use the App for its intended purpose.
They do not transfer ownership of the App or permit commercial copying, resale, redistribution, or creation of derivative services.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
RDMJ APPS DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RDMJ APPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, INCOME, PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES, PRIVACY, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP.
This includes losses resulting from:
-
Incorrect income information or calculations
-
Financial decisions based on App content
-
Accidental sharing
-
Improperly addressed invitations
-
Actions taken by authorized household members
-
Unauthorized account or device access
-
Exported information
-
Third-party services
-
Service interruptions or data loss
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly for the App during the preceding 12 months or $100, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RDMJ Apps from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the App, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unauthorized disclosure of information.
18. Apple-Specific Terms
If you downloaded the App through Apple’s App Store:
-
These Terms are between you and RDMJ Apps, not Apple.
-
RDMJ Apps, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
-
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
-
Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App except as required by law.
-
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions.
-
Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Usage Rules.
Apple’s applicable standard terms and policies may also apply.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If applicable law requires additional consent, we will request it.
